Default Wishing Our New President Well & Grateful for our Constitution

Today I watched our Nation enthusiastically continue our tradition of welcoming and appreciating our newest President and his family.

What a remarkable Constitution we have, thanks to the foresight of our earliest Congress. No other Nation on earth was built on quite the same principles nor foundation.

It's a great day to be an American. I wish President Obama every success as he leads us through these difficult times.

Best Regards,
Andy

I, too, was proud. I've been impressed how quickly Obama is moving to center (I'm a centrist) and it seems his first priority is to reduce partisanship. I'm not sure it's possible, but with every crisis there is great opportunity and I wish our elected officials the very best of luck, skill, and hard work to get this accomplished.

As the loyal opposition, I hope he is up to the task. Really do.

Hopefully the economy will stay down until everyone who wants to pick up a nice used p-car can get a good deal, then it will pop back up so everyone who needs to sell can pocket a few extra $

President Obama enters with many problems and issues to deal with. I wish him and his administrative team all the best to get this dying economy turned around and headed in the right direction.

It was nice to watch all the festivities in DC from 100 miles away; bad day to be a DC commuter!

Another attempt at a civil political thread. Let's see how this goes after the 6 o'clock cocktail hour gets going

My thoughts as well. We are all lucky to live here. Even the bottom 1/2 here is living better than 95% of the rest of the world.

Loyal to whom?

Let's devote one day to putting the best wishes for the whole country first. Tomorrow those who have pledged allegiance to a political party can scurry back to your party bunkers.
