Thank you, guys, for your interest. I decided not to post the announcement on Pelican, just to avoid the hoopla. It looks like there'll be enough people attending from this board -- I think a dozen to 15 cars would be about right.

Right now I'm just waiting to hear from WRAMC about what dates are available. I'll post an update as soon as I know something...

This is great! I have other plans or I'd support it.

Gayle and I were on our way to Houston last month in one of those small commuter flights. When we landed in Houston I noticed that we stopped at the end of the taxi-way and a fire truck was headed our way with lights and all going. I thought “This ain’t good”

Just about that time, the pilot got on the intercom and told us we had a special passenger on board from Walter Reed and that they wanted to give him the ‘reception he deserved’. By then the other fire truck had positioned itself and we then taxied under the crossed fire nozzles. I got a lump in my throat. They sure deserve it and more. What a difference 33 years makes.

Noah,

Count me in depending on the date. Do you have any feel for what day of the weekend this would fall; ie: Saturday or Sunday?
