I've met Tito, as he bought my Carrera seats on eBay and picked them up in person. He also came by to show me his sweet cab, which he totally STOLE.

Also met VAScott the other night, though it was raining, so he didn't have the 930 with him.

Welcome Tito. As RickV said, I think you'll find that this is a friendly and knowledgable group.

Tito

Is your 75 a white Targa with different paint on one of the doors? I have seen that car around a couple of times coming from VL along with a silver coupe with a red interior. One of them must be you.

Steve...yes that is me...the car is a blast just has a few small areas where it needs to be painted...I took down the small areas of rust on the body and will ultimately paint the car myself when i learn how...cant match the paint as it is not a standard color or i would just paint the few areas...but with a 3.0 engine and no cat it runs like the dickens and i love driving it...if i start doing the track and DE events in the future, i will likely use that car. r/tito

I joined Dorkiphus several weeks ago. When I posted about torsion bars somebody suggested that I introduce myself so here is some info about me and my car.

I’ve been a PCA member since 1986, the year I bought my 1984 Targa. I did my first event in November of 1986 and even though it snowed the experience led to 12+ years of track events.

I drove up to see the Shenandoah Circuit during the last 2005 event to see if I recognized anybody and to see the circuit. I plan to do some DE events this year.

The car has 21mm and 27mm torsion bars, a short shift kit, a cool brake kit, and a camber truss. I put on a chin spoiler and a tail.

One of the reasons I have a Targa is I’m slightly over 6’3” tall and I don’t have enough headroom in a sunroof coupe.

I look forward to meeting Dorkiphus members at the track this year.

Chip

Hey Chip,

I joined PCA in '87 when I bought my new Targa. While not the optimal DE car, I thoroughly enjoy it on the track......I like you did shocks, 22/30 bars, chipped, and upgraded brakes. While my wife nagges me about getting a newer car (it also is my daily driver), I like it too much to do so.......

PErhaps we ought to form a Targa group.
