Take the removable flares off, unbolt the tops of the struts then undo the big nut holding the cartridge in compress strut and replace cartridge.[/b]

When I got home last night from Star Wars (have a picture of JoEllen holding a replica lightsaber btw ) i took all the fenders off front and rear, took out my manual, and started to review the process. I think i can do the job with the minimal amount of work Kurt described. David - I think we can make that happen

with a 914, it's possible to compress the strut and remove the strut with minimal disassembly as there is just enough clearance with the fender and since you have removable "extra clearance", piece of cake.....
