[quote="APKhaos"]The humble Miata [AKA Wreck Me Otter] has one of the most hotly contested and panel-thumping good race series around. A great way for many less fortunate people to start racing. Us Porsche guys are spoiled

I have said many times that If I had bought my wife's Miata before I bought the Porsche I would be racing Spec Miata rather than PCA.
I had to sell it and buy a Dodge Kidavan.

They are a BLAST to drive and for a drop top handle well.

BTW Karl S. Got to visit with your GT3 today while it is at the car Dr.

Note to all Dorki: Check the mileage on your odometer before dropping your car off at HBL for service! :P

Its even worse Chris. Student is HPDE2, which is the session immediately before the race on both days. Doh!

That's rough. Look at it this way, no snoozing time.

Good luck Tony, all your positive 951 talk may have another convert.

I hope they were at least working on it. It's in for an RMS replacement and they've had it for a week tomorrow. It was supposed to be done today but I haven't heard from them, so I assume it isn't.

BTW, I always set my trip odometer to zero before leaving any vehicle for service. That way I know exactly how many miles they put on it "test" driving. I once found dirty rear mats after having my 996 serviced. No one could explain why it takes 3 people to test drive a car.

Karl, you were asking the wrong people! If you'd have asked the cute reciptonist she could have explained it in graphic detail.
BTW that's about the lamest excuse I've ever heard for selling a car and getting a Cup car, no floor mats or back seat.
