Hey, does it count if we 'drive' our cars to the show?

I was wondering about entering my 911 in the concours (never done one before) but haven't pre-registered yet. I doubt my form and check'd arrive in time if I send it US mail now. Anyone know if i can just show up and expect to get in? Stupid question...

Hey Doug, I've had my 993 less than one month and have put 1000 miles on her. I don't think you have to worry about me letting her sit and become a garage queen. Fun runs are always welcome.

My wife and I will be there. Keith, yes you can show up and enter in the concours without pre-registering. We entered our 993 in last years picnic, and was dinged a point for a blade of grass that dropped on the hood...so much for a "low key" concours

We're entering in the wash and shine since it takes too much time to clean nicely for the concours.

Anyone up for driving out there in a group?

Keith, let me know if you want to head out together.

For you Leesburg guys, I'd recommend taking White's Ferry across into MD and then take the back roads to the picnic. Much better drive than 495/270, at least in a Porsche. Let me know if you're interested, and I can give directions.

Holy smokes! A blade of grass, in a low-key event!? I'm nowhere near that serious. Maybe I should opt for the wash'n shine too!

Yeah, let's hook up. My son Matt and I'll be taking the Ferry over (what time - dunno?)

Default Reserved Parking

Doug,
Don't worry, I haven't lost all perspective. The only reason I'm entering the Show and Shine is for a good parking spot.

I dunno Charlie, I think PCA requires that you've driven you car at least once in the current calendar year.

Default driving?

Charlie,
Will you be driving Richards car to the picnic? If not, and you need a ride, I have a spare seat. Give me a buzz.
