I remember removing the system from my '70. Lots of little stuff.. rusted control valves, rusted cables etc etc. Blower fan. Now 35+ years later, some of this stuff is a pain to come by.

Sorry I don't have a list, or parts, but you will come to enjoy the car a lot more once there is heat. Takes of that late fall chill or even keeps you relatively warm in cold weather

I ran 2.0 Stainless heat exhangers on my 1.7 without issue. Bolted right up. You don't actually need stainless heat exchangers, but the regular metal ones tend to rust out.

George's prices are high (as usual) but on the otherhand, there aren't many folks selling complete "kits" for items like this. Sometimes I pay a premium for the convenience factor. However, $2k? that's a little steep. otoh, 20 years ago, I recall stainless heat exchangers were about $500.

Casey, the 2.0 bolts up if you get everything. It will allow you to et replacement parts and a small hp bump. Not sure on the webers thing You could go old school VW and get a gas heater.

Buying the 2.0 complete would be tempting, huh.
