Engelbert. I have a 1970T with 70K miles. Not pristine at all but 0.0 mods and everything is original. Can take pix of stuff if you have questions of what was stock on a 70T non sunroof coupe.

Thanks, that would be great. I good picture of the engine compartment would be great, as well the driver door hinge area. Are your torsion bar/spring plate covers black or yellow zinc ?

Does your car also got the Zenith Carbs ?

Thanks
Engelbert

Motor is out of the compartment and 1/2 apart. Yes to the Zenith carbs. Spring plate covers are black paint. Will get you some pix of the door area when i get a chance. The car is under a well tied down cover at the moment.

Thanks, so the Spring plate covers don't need to be yellow zinc plated.

Scott, don't need those covers plated, I will powder coat them.

Do you remember what color the brake calipers are on your car, silver or gold ?

Thanks for your help
Engelbert

Black. (Well, rusty with some black still showing) Screw heads look to be gold color coating so if they were painted someone took the time to mask them.

I think that the final. I will send them to BMP instead of Powder coating. If it would be silver, I think PC would look OK, but to look like yellow zinc.

Saves me some work as well.

Thanks
Engelbert

Engelbert. I have a couple sets of Calipers ready to go to PMB. If you want to drop yours off I can send them all in one box. Let me know ASAP

FWIW, Brembo actually says to NOT powder coat calipers as the PC retains heat more than paint or the correct zinc plating does.
