I am not a new Pcar owner or new to the area but, I am new to this site. I am sure I have met some folks on here before since I have been on other forums..

I have always loved Porsches and as soon as I had the coin I bought a 99 996 Aero a little less than 3.5 years ago. I kept that for a year then sold it to buy a 996TT, loved it, did a bunch of mods to it, etc.. Well that car got me in some trouble about a year ago (ok I got myself in trouble in the car) so I sold it.

I picked up my Arena Red 993 back in March (I think) and have started autox and will eventually graduate to the track. I look forward to getting to catch up with you guys!

Any one know a good home improvement guy in MD?

Welcome,
You won't get a lot of replies this weekend as most are at the track or involved in one or more of the Porschefest events all weekend. There are a few home improvement guys here and I'm sure you will get a bite soon. Funny how you kinda went backwards in cars to find that the early ones are the most fun to drive.

^^^ I will be out there tomorrow too.
It is funny about my progression, I went from NA to TT for speed then bought the 993 which is the least powerful and found out it is the most fun!!!

Welcome Cohare. I feel the same way about my boxster. Give me the twisty up and down country mountain roads any day over the long flat stretches.

Default New to Dorkiphus

New here... Thanks for the suggestion from the member I met in Brunswick last month at the taco stand...

I'm just outside of Frederick near Jefferson. I've had my 71 911E for 22 years now - first car I bought out of school after moving to southern California! Just completed a complete restoration last year and still am working on details at this point in time.

Beautiful! Summit Point is only 20-25 minutes from you--come by tomorrow with that gorgous car! The Dorkis are just as you get into the paddock, on your right (well, past that giant transporter truck).

Yeah... we love heading out to summit for whatever is there - especially P cars. Too many home projects today to head out... 3.5 year old son doesn't quite get the concept of no A/C either!

Thought I would introduce myself here. I picked up a 2007 C4S in January. Here's a pic of the car. Anyone want to guess what track?
At the moment, this car is quite literally my only car. That means its my track car, daily driver, takes the kids to school, and gets me around in the winter (when it wears Pirelli Sottozeros).
I put some RS29s on the car for the track, and I think I'll keep them on full-time as I can definitely tell a difference even with street driving. (Perhaps that tells you too much about how I drive on the street.) I've got my eyes on mods that I can make to the car to improve it on the track but won't be too impractical on the street.

Welcome. I met you at the tech session. We talked about your black lobster forks.
