Default Good news? Bad news?

Just got my Tweeks Catalog & surprise, surprise they are now owned by Mid America Motorworks! Aren’t they the ones that bought Performance Products a few years ago? If so the world of real Porsche parts (not jackets & hats) just got a lot smaller

I thought they were always Mid America, at least the last few years.

That's what I thought too. Anything I ever ordered from them says Mid America on the receipt

OK, I have to ask - what have you guys found at Tweeks that not overpriced and worth buying?

Every first-time Porsche owner buys something from Tweeks and/or PP before they figure out which way is up. I did. Its a rite of passage.

I know they are way overpriced, but I found my shift knob in their catalog for 26 bucks. I love it, it's much better than the factory shift knob I had on it. Considering the momo shift knobs go for around $100, its a good deal since I think it looks cool. Plus the $70 I saved goes toward other p-car parts .

LOL

I always look at their catalog when it comes in the mail. There are always a couple things that I'm interested in so it's not all fluff. Worst case it makes a good read in the morning.

ChrisM,
Tweeks prices on B&B single in mufflers are the lowest I've seen anywhere. They're asking $699 for any configuration of single inlet muffler. Although that's the ONLY thing that is within reason. Tweeks was previously owned by a guy named Mike Yeager, he must have sold out to Mid-America.

Well I just ordered the B&B Tri-Flow muffler, single in, single out 3" oval from Tweeks for $699 to go with the Fabspeed Euro cat-by-pass

Good-bye to the cat that's holding my horsepower hostage
