wow, outside my window, right now... near "judiciuary sq" stop on redline, i can see 5 fire engines, at least 25 blue-n-whites, dogs, prolly another 10 unmarked, and several ambulances.... all flashing lights etc etc.... have to look whether there is some big case going on inside...

turned out to be a "suspicious package"-- plenty of those, just haven't seen 40 vehicles respond to one before.... oh well, my office will still have its windows intact to keep the ac cold.

i am being more careful this time around. i swapped out all the plates, pay in random-numbered hundreds etc etc. this is how they almost got me last time, but i managed to sneak out disguised as one of the flamboyant (read: gay-looking.... i live near dupont) released hostages
