I have a Mk7 GTI (not babied like this one - I've had it on the track, in snow and ice with winter tires, loaded TONS of stuff in the back) and can say these are really wonderful, fun cars. I was convinced to try it by one of my Miata racing buddies (who has both a GTI and a 991) and went right out and bought one!

I've had GTI's my entire life along with many Porsche's You can't beat the value the GTI offers

It's the SE trim. Didn't car for the wheels on the Autobahn
