I have higher elevation footage from my $300 quad and no spine boards involved. But you won't get 100,000 hits on that. I like the nose down landing via rear mounted parachutes. Was the delay of the second deployment intentional or was he pulling like mad while watching the ground come up fast?

At least he was smart enough to go with High-test peroxide as a propellant.

All good points VG - Still, "Win" or "Fail" - Not sure yet. For instance, he did survive and it was a reasonable good build, but the spine boards and the nose down landing (as you pointed out) give me pause. He did get the relationship between the cg and the aero cp good and it looked stable - kind of like a V2. They did say he was dis-oriented (no-shxt!!).
