To anyone who is making a little vacation of the trip, today's NYTimes had a nice write up in the travel section: https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...york.html?_r=0

Thanks Pinkie. My wife is travelling up with me and is trying to organize some activities that don't involve sitting by the track watching cars drive by. Anyone else looking for off track diversions?

Good luck and safe trip to all the WG people. I hope to make it up next year.

Please send updates so us non-drovers can live vicariously......

Walking up the gorge is a must-do activity if you haven't done it yet.

Keep it simple -- they can drive around the east side of Seneca Leaks and hit all the wineries. Head up to north end to wander through a nice town. And closet to south end there is usually a farm where you can pick cherries (you can get gallons in a short period of time). Walking gorge is nice too, but only kills 1-1/2 hours.

Lots of familiar faces in the picture. I hope everyone had a good time.
