Default Hard Left then a CLUNK!

Not a porsche...

1993 toyota SR5 pick up.
WHen I take a hard left (u-turn, parking, etc) the right front tire/axle makes a loud clunk sound. It doesn't affect the turning and the car seems to run fine and is still straight when driving. Former owner said they got it checked out by three folks, none of them can figure it out.
Ideas?

Need more info. 2WD or 4? For a start. If 4 start with the CVs and transfer box. if 2 check the suspension bolt points including shock tower conection points and steering assembly. Also check where the spindle/ hub connects to the strut and wheel bearing agustment.

Another tack to take. Is it realy coming from the suspention and from that corner? It might be something else moving/shifting. use a bright light spend some time and look all over.
