check for chewed electrical wires, especially to fuel pump. mice also love to chew on vacuum lines.

Bone stock. I was thinking gas but it's not that old (the gas) as it was just ducky a month ago. Battery is strong. I hear something running when the key is on so I'm guessing that's the fuel pump.

Dunno what the wur is or where it is

Fuses all look good to.

Alarm? Maybe small enough drain sitting for a month. WUR is a bit like a fancy choke IIRC. Its what helps the CIS cars start better when cold. On my SC, the WUR was starting to go. The car would restart fine, but if it sat for a while or was really cold, the first start would take 5-7-10 attempts. Just a thought.

So.. maybe the battery is just a touch low or you aren't getting enough fuel / fuel pressure to allow a start.

Good info.

Over the summer, now that I'm racking my brains, I did experience difficult hot starts. If I drove it for a while stopped it and started it soon after it would struggle to start and idled very very low until it worked out whatever the issue was. Only happen 2 or so times.

I bet it's the ugly intakes on the rear fenders. The car is ashamed to be seen in public.

So sensitive.

So my bet is crank position sensor. When it went bad on my 86, I had the same symptoms. Lots o crank; no fire. I do not understand CIS but apparently 930s have crank position sensors too.
