Horsepower wars....whodathunkit not that many years ago when emissions and then gas mileage was the big thing. Coolsstuff but still falls short of the 1100HP Camaro we had at the last DE.
I'm rather smitten by the GT4 Mustang......Voodoo motor....now that's a cool name.

The sad part is in order to gain unneeded HP and retain fuel eco the car makers are resorting to tinfoil in bad places. PU trucks with aluminum beds and body panels and sedans that dent when an acorn falls 6 feet from a tree. Aluminum body panels are a joke in real life and the folks that though it is the right metal for a PU bed are nucking futs.
Today's cars dent if you stare in one place a bit too long. But Oh hey, my 4 door sedan has a bitchen' 385HP !

Ok ok I didn't do the motor swap for the HP. Hell, it's not *that* much faster than my old turbo motor was.
But I agree with Steve -- this whole horsepower war thing seems to have come out of nowhere. Didn't see this coming.
