Default A BIG FAT THANK YOU !

Well, what can I say other then that the NoVa gang rules !

I just wanted to say thanks again to everyone that showed up today and lent a helping hand on the engine drop ... I certainly couldn't have done it with-out you.

Although we didn't break the record we did come close but most importantly nothing broke or was lost. The chemistry on this drop team was fantastic and I hope each of you enjoyed yourselves as much as I did.

Charlie has already set up a gallery for this drop and I'm getting ready to add a bunch of pics now.

If you can believe it I'm off to the garage to stare at my engine sitting on the stand . BTW, I spent the afternoon cleaning the tranny so now I can turn my full attention to the heart of the project.

Thanks again and I'll keep everyone posted relative to my progress.

Default Looking forward to joining you all for the next one!

Well as an official owner now and a NoVA resident, I guess I will have to drop at some point.

I think I will be an attendee before moving into the participant column!

I look forward to the weath of knowledge I am sure to repeatedly tap into!!

Charlie,
Thank You. I think we might have twin cars. I look forward to joining you all soon.

If you don't see me right away, it because I'm finishing my MBA over the next month. This car is my graduation present to myself!

Steve

Steve,
Congrats on the SC! Can't wait to see it at the next event. Now go and give that car a proper shake down run on "The Pike".

Sorry I missed this one guys. I was thinking about you all as I limped my lame rental car along at 170 Km/h toward Cologne. Now I'm killing some time (between beers) in an Internet cafe near Frankfurt. Tomorrow morning is my big tour at Zuffenhausen and in the afternoon I go pay a visit to Alois Ruf. Yeah, life sucks. Lots of cool cars here, as the weather is very mild at the moment. I'll be posting lots of photos in Dec. I'll probably get a 996 for a day too.
