You know how people here are, though. Anything more than a foot and I am afraid my neighbors will resort to cannibalism....

Snow blower and generator are both functional and gassed up. Drive way cleared of vehicles and other unnecessary stuff.

Food and essentials stocked up.

I'm at work today, leaving at 11:30.

Later today, my wife & son have tickets to the Caps game at Verizon Center. She's getting a ride to Shady Grove, and taking METRO to meet him at NIH when he gets off work, around Noon. Then they're taking METRO into DC for lunch and time-wasting. Game start was moved from 7PM to 5PM. I'm looking forward to taking the Suburban out for some snow driving fun to pick them up from Shady Grove afterwards.

Tomorrow will be a good day to do some scotch and bourbon tasting.

Sunday.......let the Great Dig-Out begin.

Drove down to Wintergreen and arrived at midnight last night. The snow started here at 0830 this morning. Well stocked with food, firewood, skis, and libations

We were scheduled to go on a cruise out of Miami leaving Monday, but just no realistic way to get there within reason.....so canceled it with trip insurance, but still planning to be at the 24 Hours of Daytona next weekend. Camping inside the infield inside the Denali with the family......I picked up an inflatable air mattress custom fit for the truck. VERY cool, and very excited.

sigh, so since this is MoCo, i guess the wife and l will have to line up baby sitters due to school being out til, when, March probably? August?
