At Alamo in Ashburn the other night. I had to explain the plate to my wife and daughter - back in late 60s/early 70s my older cousins in PA owned a couple of these

Ralph Nadar, a consumer advocate, wrote a book about the Corvair "Unsafe at any speed". This ultimately resulted in the decision by GM to stop building what was a fairly sporty and cool looking little car. Hence the tag f!!! Nader.

 Always thought those cars were cool, although Back to the Future really squashed that a bit. I remember when they were sold in the American Express catalog, including a version covered in gold.
