Two things.

1. I used all new nuts, bolts, washers, ect. during the engine rebuild. They are obviously not original.

2. Car was resprayed a couple years ago so the paint, having two coats now, is thicker than original.

These guys can be sticklers. Not anything I can realistically change.

Should really not be a problem as I see it. It is only a year and a half of college payments

Still less than a new 911. And unlike a new car, will continue to appreciate. More like an investment you can enjoy

looks like a nice car. I am surprised the concours judge did not point out some simple items
1. incorrect plug wires
2. Silver warm up tube
3. ROW car with US sealed beam sugar scoops
4. no engine sound pad

easily correctable, but deducts none the less

I am aware of those things but feel they are worth while upgrades.

1. I have used a variety of plug wires and those (Magnacore) are the best.
2. I disagree that the silver warm tube is incorrect (maybe it's just been that way for 30 years)
3. The H4 headlights, definitely an upgrade (with correct sugar scoops)
4. I thought about adding the sound pad but like the sound

So that’s my rational. Ditto for the pressure fed chain tensioners. If someone wants to make those relatively minor changes, more power to them. I purposaly chose not to.
