I was, too. Tina recalls even in the late 80s that the only folks driving Ferraris and Lambos in DC were her classmates from overseas.

Crazy times. There were a lot of Bimmers around back in early 80s when I was there. I was more of a redneck with my 350 4bbl 72 Olds.
