I wound up w/ two 2nds and a 1st with a GREAT battle w/ Omar (again) in sprint 2 as we traded places a few times. I had a big code brown moment out of T9 and backed it off after that but didn't know Omar was too since he was low on fuel.

Congrats to Ryan, Scott and Evan for multiple wins...and others I missed. Race Monitor is (and was) missing most of the sprint results so I'm not exactly sure how the other groups turned out. G class had 11 and Lane, Antonio and David all drove very well.

Finally got the G class record in qual w/ a compromised T1:

Jim- that is simply impressive. We couldn't have the same car
Wow do I need more seat time.

Pat said the Pace Car was a total yawner... Said she had to sit on the hump and press the gas pedal for you.

Well the PCA Club Race Stewards did mention that the car seemed "sluggish"

THANK YOU to all the volunteers. It was a great event. Congratulation to all the winners, but the best part was cheering for Tonny P in Sprint 3. I enjoyed hanging out and visiting, and eating lot's of gumbo. It was good to see Lane still hussling that RSA around.

I had a great time battling in the back of G class. Gave up many places on the start as usual, but I think it is the best driving I have done in a while with a car that just did not handle well. My best moment was making a pass stick in the carousel.

I did get help from Peter Dawe and after some minor adjustments, I was able to squeez a 1:23:XX at qualifying. Much more left in the car after I get the A+ alignment over the winter.

Also, great to watch Jim and Tony in the Sunday Sprints and Enduro! Tony picked up 6 spots in the first two laps starting from the last row in the Sprint. Every time Jim and Tony got within striking distance of their next pass the overtaking 911s would interfere and hold them up when they used their brakes in the corners Really fun to watch all the Dorkis racing. Much more enjoyable than watching generic racing. Thanks to all for the excellent entertainment and well done to all the Dorkis!

Having seen a bit more of the backstage management that goes into these events I continue to be in awe of the effort the organizers and volunteers put into this. Extremely grateful that they do what they do.
