My lucky day!!
So L & I were coming home from looking at some property in Winchester midafternoon today in the 996. Cross over the mountain and coasting down the hill towards Round Hill and a little past the usual place the staties hang out is a dark late model chevy sedan. Roll on past and keep going but w/in a mile or so I see the tell tail lights of a high-speed pursuit! Pull over and a state cop comes up to the car and asks if I know how fast I was going. Told him HONESTLY I didn't know (hadn't look since topping the hill). Anyway he asked if I had a good driving record and again I said yes. So he takes my license back to his cruiser and in a minute or two comes back to my car. Hands me my license and says that yes in fact I DID have a good record and he wasn't going to mess it up, but that I should slow down!!! I thanked him and tried hard not to spin the tyres or kick gravel on him and his car as I left
 Wished I'd bought a lottery ticket today
