Know mounts are an issue on some BMWs raced.

I'm blaming the driver. Tranny mounts were replaced with E46 rubber when I first got the car.

I didn't see any smoke in the rear-view mirror. Probably just spaghetti valves.

So, to keep the theme going, do you think it was the whole "Hyper" theme that made you attempt the 4-to-3 upshift?

Gosh, I hope so.

I know Wonger has a machine shop in Rockville that he uses, and I saw that the one in Burtonsville is another favorite. Hoping to find one in NoVa that does good work and reasonably priced.

I found a head that I'll be picking up tomorrow.
