First off, I need to emphatically thank this thread for saving my butt and possibly my relationship. Due to work and other shenanigans I plum forgot about the race this weekend. Well, come Sunday I awoke and found an email waiting for me on my phone...from this thread! I said, "babe, don't be pissed bit I think we missed the F1 race". Well, some of you know she may be a bigger F1 fan than I and given this was pre-tea-o'clock she wasn't happy.
Fortunately, I'm exceedingly pleased to say our DVR settings from last season were still active so we got the race anyway. Disaster avoided. Hey, this was a big deal for us. Anyway I enjoyed the race. Off to a great start, reminds me of how pleased I was last season. Really happy to see Mercedes has decent pace; I'm a big Lewis fan and I find myself gunning for either Mercedes and/or Lotus. Alonso earned my respect when he showed such excellent SA during that pass on Lewis.

Malaysia wasn't a race as much as a Soap Opera...
There are few ways to screw up that weren't covered.

Interesting to say the least. Not sure any of the teams left there very happy, for various reasons.

Ross Brawn and Christian Horner have some child psychology cases on their hands. Mark Webber was seriously pi$$ed in public, which is a bigger problem than Rossberg's whining about not being allowed to pass Lewis. Brawn will simply lay down the law. Horner's problem may be a little more challenging.
Alonso seems to have ignored the "box" call for a new nose, which cost Ferrari dearly. Force India's problem looked like a major design failure. McLaren seemed to have a failure on its hands as well. Good thing they have three weeks to get these messes sorted before China!

This race simply reinforces my opinion of Vettle......he is indeed an asshole.

Egos at that level are probably something I could never comprehend.
Hell I can't comprehend some of the egos at club races. I've never seen such an unhappy podium in my life.
