I too had a great time. I did decide while the Turbo can go pretty fast, it is a bitch in the twisty stuff. With it's stock suspension and heavy weight, it rides like a boat in places like the ESSEs. It just doesn't have that "feel" of confidence I get with the Targa.
Even started the debate once I got home. Wife said, why don't you get a GT3 but if you do, you have to reduce the household Porsche numbers to three. I said that was easy....we sell the Boxster ![]() Damn......

Glad to hear the weather didn't get too bad for you guys. Really wish I could've made it.
John -- glad to hear about the lack of ice pedal!

On Saturday an instructor who had soloed his green student asked the marshals to black flag him just to see if he was paying attention. He passed four black flags at Oak Tree and was finally brought in after the starter climbed over the pit rail and waved a black flag at him. The instructor was ridiculed at the drivers meeting Sunday morning for soloing him. Not a bad idea though.

No need to a 997.2 GT3 is much more fun on the straights and twisties of any kind than a 996 TT
