I never did understand the intent of that rule as any cage attached anywhere stiffens the chassis.

Yeah, most other groups rules clearly specify the 8(max) points it can touch the chassis. The PCAs is more vague.

Door bars do not kick out, so still have working windows and mirrors. The x's dont actually intersect, but are tied together by the gussets (supposedly better).

I checked before it was done, as that's what I thought also. Charlie, said it's legal and everyone does it. Showed me 4 cars out in the lot that all had stock log books, and all had the rollbar tied in to pillars.

I think this will be the first H class 997, at least I haven't seen one yet in my travels. Will be interesting to see how Ryan does against the Caymans, and the 3.4 996 since both get to run lighter. Would love to see what it would do in NASA GTS3 too.
