Or if you want to get really fancy, do a full-flow filter below the engine tins and keep the original one for show (and a tiny bit extra filtering). Tim B showed us the full flow at his shop early this year...the stock one takes 300 miles of driving to fully filter the oil!

Funny how what was old is new! Canister oil filters in permanent housings are coming back. But why? My MGs had a cnister oil filter but with a Brit twist... hold down bolt went all the way through it! Required seals top and bottom and

Small block Chevy V-8 oil filters had the same design, up to at least 1968. I still have a new filter cartridge on the shelf from my '66 Corvette, anybody need it?

how much is a crappy BMW motorcycle worth with a running 4cam....and would it be acceptable to remove it for a vintage beetle install!
