I'm leaving tomorrow but not getting to the track until Thursday afternoon. I have to attend rookie orientation (again for the 4th time) Thurs evening so feel free to stop by and heckle...

I'll be in garage 21 w/ Dr. K so stop by to say hi. I guess I'll have to be especially wary when bending over to check tire pressures this weekend....

If one miss the Friday practice how does it work for the Saturday race?

Depends on how they run it. Friday practice best time (usually practice 2 or 3) becomes qualify & grid for Sprint 1 on Sat. Dude, you have to get there, not that many of us G cars running! you can't let one of us 2 rookies get the metal!

IIRC they use last practice Friday to set the grid for qualifying. Worst case you start from the back during qualifying, which isn't all that bad if you play it smartly.
