Default Sell the 964 or ...

... turn it into a dedicated track car. Although I have never thought of a car too nice to turn into a track carbefore, that would be an argument for not converting the current ride.

My initial thought was to keep the current and buy another one, AKA do a TR. However, given that I am keeping my S2 money pit, we do not want maintanance cost of another toy.

So, it seems that converting the current C2 into a dedicated track car is the way forward.

its been my experience that it would be cheaper/easier to buy one already prepared for the track.

I may know of an awesome 944 that would be a perfect dedicated track car that could be for sale........

Put a nice aftermarket suspension on it prolly needs it anyway after nearly 20 years and drive the piss out of it... then decide in a couple years.

The Burgundy 85.5 944 NA (Starla's old race car) could be available. It doesn't get driven enough these days.

You mean like yours I could pitch the idea to the title holder if you are interested in a street car as partial trade

I guess memory is the second thing that goes. It already has a fresh shocks/springs. Sways are on order.

My point was you already have a good start on what needs to be done for now! What sways boy-0? That I have forgotten!

H&R Fronts (24 mm), TRG rears (22 mm), Tarret F& R drop links.

Here is what I am thinking as a good start. Strip the interior . Remove all the A/C related components. Remove stock exhaust. Add race seats/harness and brake cooling. Revalve shocks for big rate springs.

A good finish in a couple of yeras is a cage/LSD/RS flywheel/racing clutch.
