Default Experiences with Eibach springs / Bilstein shock set ups?

I'm thinking of updating my 1990 vintage suspension with Eibach springs and Bilstein shocks. H&R also makes a kit for the 964. I would appreciate hearing about any expereinces with either of the suppliers' products - especiallly as applied to a 964.
Thank you,
Scott

I have Bilstein HD's and H&R springs on my 993 and couldn't be happier. Bilstein are super quality. Dunno if there's any difference between Eibach and H&R though. If you have money to burn, get PSS-9's.

I can say un-equivalently that springs are just like torsion bars except they are all wound up.

Silver 964? You should have said something then. Sometime later to day RL (993) and ES (964RS) will chime in with real data. By the way, welcome to Dorki land! Where advice can sometimes be had and banter runs as free as the Colorado in spring.

PS see RL beat my posting!!!

Hi David - Silver 964 targa with weeping valve cover seals, that was me. Lee, thank you for sharing your postive experience - I hope to make an upgrade soon but doubt I'll splurge for the PSS-9s. My car is primarily a street machine - high powered grocery-getter.
