Default Official Request for Help
Saturday, January 16th we will be getting together at Scott Kaefer's garage to put the car back together (except for the engine/transmission). I will provide food/fluids and, if necessary, transportation down and back from the DC area, to work in his heated (it will be) workshop and meet some of our Richmond/NC (and hopefully Scottsville, VA, too) brethren.

I'm about to purchase at least the following parts. If you have one of these laying around and would like to sell it (I'm not looking for big discounts here, BTW), please let me know by tomorrow.
Rear window seal (for '86 Carrera coupe)
NEW, used, or used requiring rebuild axle (for late 915 transmission)
Emergency shut off switch
WeVo rear sway bar mounts
Tow hooks for Carrera with fiberglass bumpers

I've got a rear window seal sitting in my basement that I bought to fix my rear window leak. Never got around to it. Lemme get home to see what I paid for it, but it's available and close to your house.

Cool.

Joe has the fiberglass bumpers in the back of his truck. I told him to go ahead and start cussing to get that out of the way which allows getting the big $$$ for fitting the fiberglass bumpers!

During all of your travels, do you have an empty trailer going down to Richmond? I have a car going to R to the body and paint guru, could go "green" and save some hydrocarbons from getting into the air.
