Default 911 Window Glass

What’s the general consensus of this offer? I need a new windscreen.
Thanks, Rich

Would be a great price if you can get it.

He has had two similar identical auctions, one at $230 opening and one at $192. Neither attracted a single bid. Chnces are you could get one at less than $200 [+freight], which would be a good deal.

I checked eBay when looking for my windshield. Prices were good, but shipping is where you get killed. I was quoted between $75 & $100 to ship. For that price, its cheaper to get it locally. My Sigla antenna-in-glass windshield was $275 and I had it the next day.

Is it safe to assume that you have checked your insurance policy? If so & your policy has a provision for glass repair/replace, it might be worth a few minutes invested looking into have your insurance pay for the glass replacement.

Thanks for the response. I seem to remember that the cost of shipping pushed the price out of the realm of being a good deal. As I get a little older I suffer from CRS more often.

A local source seems more appropriate.
Cheers, Rich
