Well I finally found this site...hmmmm...a local site of Porsche enthusiasts..Who woulda thunk it !! I am Kevin Lacy, Woodbridge , VA Started out 2 years ago with a 1988 928 S4 AT, and spent 2 winters bringing it up to spec ..went to a great GTG of the local 928 guys in Feb2009 and met a few of the Shark guys...took it to Summit Point in April for the HPDC with Potomac PCA ...a blast ..now I am hooked ..Went down to Sharks in the Mountains in June in N.C. at 928 Specialists..YOU HAVE TO DRIVE the Blue Ridge Parkway at some point in your life...especially with about 80 other Porsches along with you !! Finally was able to sign up for a DE in August and that is when the AT showed it's true age and got hot enough to not shift anymore..trying to rectify the issue led me to Billy up there at SP..he let me change filter and fluid on my car to try to work the problem. Then kinda asked if I was thinking of using the 928 AT for track events and pretty much told me I had the wrong car for that, drove home OK..... now ...what to do...2 weeks later a post came on RL from PA...a guy wanted to trade his rebuilt 964 C2 5 speed for an automatic S4 and so I jumped and drove up to straight up trade my 1st Porsche for my 2nd one..... Went to the Sept HPDC with the 964.. also just did the DE on Summit main 31Oct-1Nov...what a great couple of days totally hooked now..went to Rockville last Sunday for the FUN RUN and also met up with the Holbert Bonneville World Speed Record '86 928 car on it's way,up I-81, to Conn. for restoration..that was yesterday... Today I find Dorkiphus...this just keeps getting better and better....
