I plan to run your full schedule next year and maybe in a different car. You may see me around the forum more often asking for some help on things (I’m good at being vague. :-D).

Great meeting you, Paul.

I always dial it back on the last run of the last day of a DE. (Enduros are different.) If I haven't wrecked, I consider myself lucky that I've rolled the dice and won again.

This is how I win all of my DE's, BTW.

yup, I'd have to say I've matured a bit... although I'm not sure I'm any more wise than i was oh and dont worry, i have to go though the PCA school to become an instructor. I'm only 1/2 way though the rules for that, but I'm pretty sure the last one says "cheap assholes with vette's cannot attend" lol!

That number with a combined group where there is a disparity in experience and not having run regularily over the weekend with them can be a bit chaotic, normally we would expect no more than 25-30 still being around for the combined run, and I believe it may have been closer to the upper 30s requiring a bit more patience and backing off a wee bit as we tell everyone in the drivers/instructors meeting, dial it back on the last day!!

Drik,
not a problem really, i was just not accustom to it is all. I know lots of groups do this, but I was really surprised at the number of cars, it was all the way down the pits, and into the paddock. I still say that we all played well together, and it was lots of fun!!!

This past weekend was actually pretty tame. A couple years ago I was surprised by an instructor, who after riding with me in White, unexpectedly came to me later with a Black wristband and dot, and said "You need to be in this Group". What I didn't know was that my very first session in Black would be on the last session on Sunday.....in a combined Red/Black run group. That day there were no less than 8 or 10 REALLY FAST Cup Cars on the track. In my streeted 944S2, I felt like a target being fired on by ICBM's . I had bruises on my left arm from all the passing signals.

Sounds like my experience at a Ferrari/Lambo/Maserati event. I got bumped up to Red and was running with two Ferrari F360 Cup cars and a few of the hotshoes here. There's a video showing Ryan passing me TWICE in a 20 minute session!

haha, I've been there before in my 944's you get that nice "roof bruise" from trying to make sure all the ICBM's can see your signal

I do track/race a vette now, however, the mullet machine was at the shop. I was the idiot in the "white car" that would make laps from time to time before we'd destroy something.

Pretty sure it was a rice'r...
It's really very gratifying to have REAL racers endorse our little local program AND offer to "instruct" us DE drovers
