So, I am finally puttling on the p/cs and while sliding the #2 set in (with the wrist pin and clips in place of course) the piston moves a little too fast and partially exposes the oil ring. So, as the compressor I am using is no the type that you can use w/pliers, I had to come up with an altenative.
Voila, the good old band clamp!! Works for one ring anyway. Anyone else run into this problem or am I the dork among "dorks". |

Yes, used to use thin sheet metal and a couple of clamps to install piston and rods into iron cheby and furd blocks
