The fact that you would make fun of someone's disease or cause of death behind their back says a lot about you. Just because you are not at the funeral doesn't make it OK. It doesn't become funny just because the wake is over.

As I posted, I support your cause. I think it is an interesting model for raising money and the cause is good. Despite upsetting you, this thread has had the benefit of edumacating me on your cause. Isn't that worth getting your chain yanked? My pet causes are MD Medevac and the Red Cross. If you donate some blood and some loot, you can try to offend me as often as you want.

Second, my weakness is empathy. For example, if I discovered you came down with a terminal illness I would never make fun of it. I would never make fun of a hardship that had befallen anyone I know. I'm too quick to be sympathetic.

Fourth, can't anybody on this board respect another human being long enough to not take the shot? I know I do. I have friends and family who have suffered all manner of tragedy and I don't joke about it.
