Pretty decent #s. Reminds me of my DSM days, when everyone was modding and putting down some big power #s.

Are you drag racing this thing? I'm mainly asking because the torque seems a bit skewed towards higher RPMs. Is it still 'fun' for street driving?

He's probably running some huge ass turbo that doesn't start spooling until higher rpms. Still... I'd like to have those kind of numbers in my '87 Carrera.

ehh. no one has ever done this sort of swap while using the original cluster, so it's a trial and error situation. i can rev to 8k sooo no need jus yet, no drag racing, it's my daily. drives like a stock 03 GTi...until it hits 5psi or higher. we stopped to early, the GT3071r is actually not that big..well, to me.

the torque is much more than most guys are getting..we did the exhaust different than most people in order to keep the torque.

it spools 200rpm higher than the stock turbo, yet the volume difference is almost 700% difference. it doesn't start reaally pullin till 4k.

well fortunately i built the car in NoVa and then my wife and i took a road trip to ship it...we wil not live here for ever. we did 10 states in ten days and spent a few days in cali at the end.i was able to trip my max speed memory on my GPS,lol.

it drives like stock so when i wanna play it's easy to roll in 4th hard and then slid back into traffic like it's just some old coughing VW. the porsche scene here is TREMENDOUS, the od school scene especially, tons and tons and TONS of pre-90 pcars and i have seen, in one parking lot 16 356's. almost feel over with joy.
