Ah yes, but he always refused to wear a uniform or any markings of a Nazi (all pics of him in the war he's just wearing his coat and hat)...he wasn't into the whole thing, just wanted to make money to fund his car business.

It should be obvious he kept separate from the mainstream Nazis. The French held him for many months during the war chrime trials but eventually let him go. Got to figure if the French did that in 1946 there wasn't a lot of prove.

Yeah, I wasn't actually trying to imply anything there, more stating an interesting historical fact. But I agree with Noah. It makes it a bit hard to hold the Dr. in too high regard.
