Default 1989 944 S2 Coupe

76,000+ miles. Guards Red over Black. This car is in phenomenal shape having just gone through an extensive restoration within the last year. Exterior is a 9. There are two or three small stone chips. Interior is a 9+. The seats were reupholstered and all new rubber seals installed everywhere. Dash is perfect. Mechanically the car is in great shape. The engine has been resealed front and rear. New timing belt, cam chains, all A/C hoses (A/C is very cold), coolant tank and hoses, Magnecor spark plug wires. Clutch is new within last 5,000 miles. Transmission just rebuilt. Extensive records including stamps in original owner’s manual. Wheels are perfect OEM 993 17” turbo twists with new Bridgestone RE-050A’s. There is no evidence of accidents. All body panels have original VIN tags. The car must have been partially resprayed at one time due to lack of road rash, but if it was its very well done. No orange peel or overspray anywhere. PPI's welcome. Just passed MD emissions. Asking $13,000.

If I was gonna buy a 944, it'd be one just like this. Good luck with sale.

I'll add this to the list of "Cars I Wish Were Around When I was Looking at 944s."

Would you accept an '88 n/a with 69,000 miles with a satchel containing $3,000 in unmarked bills?

Thanks for the kind words. I'll be sorry to see it go but three P-cars just aren't in the cards for me right now. Greg, are you sure you don't need a backup "parts car" for the 88?

You mean, am I sure my '88 isn't better suited to be a parts car for the S2!?
