After all the work you put into your car you should start a thread and post some pics.

Carolyn and I are signed up for now, but it is very unlikely that we will be there. If I decide to make a trip to VIR this year, it will be for the CR in Aug which I cancelled, but still would love to make. I bet we can get 2-3x as many track days at the NJMP for the same money as going to VIR. I figured that the CR trip was going to be $3K when adding the cost of a set of Hoosiers.

Does that mean you won't buy the Hoos for NJMP Cause I bet you would, gas would be the biggy but I've heard the NJ tracks are going to cost more?

If I spend 8+ hrs to get to VIR, I would not want to hang around and watch. The sad fact is that gas is not my biggest spend. I have cut back on doing DEs to reduce the number of Hoos, pads, and rotors I have to buy. One set of Hoos is used up at a 3 day PCA race weekend if I do the enduro. I need new F pads every two weekends and two sets of front rotors a year.

I am actually flipping and remounting some tires that I would normally run only at a DE for a T&T day and 1 hr enduro at NJMP this weekend and I hope that they last because I have no spare . I am one of those pessimists that thinks if this economis down turn looks bad, the next one is a disaster.

Considering travel time of the 2 hrs vs 5, I think even if the NJ track is more expensive, it would be about the same.

Why can't we all get along. BTW, the quota of only one slow guy per year promoted to black is reached.
