am hosting a Fun Run this Saturday for PCA Potomac starting in Gaithersburg, MD, driving to Sykesville for dinner, and then on to the Bengies Drive-In in Essex.

"DRIVE-IN" and DINE - JUNE 14, 2008
Meet Location: Germantown, MD, 12800 Middlebrook Road in the parking lot of the office building
Meet Time: 3:00 PM
Registration Cost: Free
Other Cost: Admission is $8 per person and a license to bring your own food is $7 per car (I recommend this given the crowds at the concession) paid at the gate.
Description: We will meet at 3:00 PM in the afternoon in the parking lot of the office complex at 12800 Middlebrook Road., Germantown, MD. This is located directly across the street from a high school. We will drive a scenic route through rural northern Maryland to the historic Bengies Drive-In Movie Theatre in Baltimore. The first movie starts around 9:00 PM. Please remember that this may be a late night. Dinner for this event will be primarily popcorn, as we "cruise" or cool cars at the drive-in. I don't know any place anymore where I can watch a movie for $2.66!
