Default Poll for the lurkers - just vote, no posted response needed

This board has over 500 registered members, but only 50 or so that you would call "active participating members". So this is a poll for the lurkers, who don't need to post anything to vote - how often do you visit?

The total poll vote count should show how many people lurk here, to give us a good idea of how many people register and never come back and how many sit there quitely, reading the sage words of wisdom posted by Matt, Kurt, David, Tony and Jason and the drivel posted by the rest of us.

For the sake of argument, lets define a lurker as someone who reads on some regular basis but posts very infrequently (about once a month or so).

I'm the quintessential lurker. I'm not much of a diy'er so don't have much to offer (although intend to change that as the costs are high obviously). I do however eagerly await the next fun run to meet everyone to show off my 930 and its engine bay of Frankensteinian proportions.

Quentin, are you the one that got the incredibly good deal on your car? Came to a tech at Curry’s a few months back ? If so, did you ever get your brakes sorted

Quentin--

Congratulations on your car. As you can tell, we take matters related to our cars very seriously. Therefore, remember when you meet board regulars to describe your engine bay with the correct pronunciation--that's "Frahnkenschteenian proportions."

I expect that I will become WAY more active here once I actually own a Porsche I just don't feel I can contribute much yet so I read as much as I can and absorb all of the great knowledge that is here.

you can always check out which cars (or models) we make fun of the most and avoid them.... Brown SC's are high on that list

Ironic poll given the nature of a "lurker" they likely wouldn't vote or leave a comment, eh? :P .. I guess that makes me a non-lurker anymore.

Hmm, no sir. I've heard of Curry's just never been there. I take mine to IMA. However, I thought mine was a good deal, ebay no less. Guy had to give it up to pay debts oweing to upcoming divorce.

Oh, and thanks for the kind welcome. Indeed, I'll try some of my clumsy German on Heinz over at IMA (if only this would reduce their hourly rate....)..
