Nate,
Welcome. I can't speak for Steve as it is his home, but I have no issues. In fact it was Steve's engine drop that was my first Dorki event.

job is progressing well. We seem to be having trouble removing the ball joint nuts with the cheap-o air chisel. May have to cut them, but we don't have replacements. The job may progress into Monday, but my Targa still fits in the garage.
Tomorrow morning's start may not be at 9 am sharp.

I believe that's Mike's department BTW, Rick, don't leave without your wire cutters and tools, I still have them.

The beer will still be nice and cold if you leave it in the garage. Is 9:00 to early to start drinking?

Steve/Clarke, thanks so much for your help.
RL, Fat pills will be provided in the am, but not sure what time. Beer/lunch in the pm. Steve, where was that good place to get stuff? If you are willing to run out, I will certainly pay you back the $. Here is my mistake. I did not buy replacement ball joint nuts, thought they were reusable. If we can get them off without damaging them, super, if not then unless somebody has them lying around and is willing to get them to me and I buy them replacements, then we will have to wailt until Monday. This obviously doesn't stop the big work however. Still need to get the tool to reinstall. See new thread in technical, I have a question on how best to remove the banana bushings. We didn't see an easy way to get them off. http://dorkiphus.net/porsche/showthr...285#post180285

Well this was less than a sucess. I should know by now that no project, except maybe air in the tires goes perfectly well.
Big thanks to all for stopping by: Clarke, Rick Lee, Jim (type954), Jase007, Julian, Tito (86911TLCAB), Don (Gordo), and Nate (N8N). Special mention to Nate, who showed up to Dorkiphus yesterday and was already at it tearing into projects!
