Always glad to add another Porsche nut site to my bookmarks!

I look forward to spending some time on this site and hearing about the usual Porsche Problems (most of which I have lived thru!)...

Welcome.

I see you are from Michigan are you a Wolverines fan? If so I went to a little school in Boone NC. Maybe you have heard of it Appalachian State? (snicker)

Just kidding.

We will need to see pictures of both p-cars ASAP. I'm not kidding.

We are right at the bottom, between Niles and Sturgis (no, not THAT Sturgis!), sitting on the Indiana border.

Nope, never got into the college ball conflicts; a former boss was a Wolverine nut, and he drove me crazy talking them up for three years. Then we fired him for "sleeping with the enemy"... A long and not very pretty story!

Pics of the P cars... okay, let's see what I got!

Well, it appears I don't have enough room to load any more photos, as I have a couple large ones over on the Cars For Sale Page...

I'll close those after a few days, and upload some here...

Welcome to the Board! Looks like you've had a great history with Porsche ownership. Your 'Past' list reads like DR's driveway inventory!

And don't worry -- a lot of us down here drive our cars in the winter. There's quite a mix of garage queens and track whores here, and about half of us drive our cars all year long while others tuck them away in the garage under a blanket for the winter

that right there looks like a downward spiral... coupled w/ the long succession of watercool'ds it seems like it took you a while to learn your lesson

Yep! After the debacle with the '77 Targa (can you say "Thermal reactors"!?), I went over to the "Dark Side" (i.e. watercoolers) for a few models... must say that I really liked my first 951, my S2 Cab, and my 968 (which I converted to a track car), but the SC and Carrera M491 pulled me back! Unfortunately, I need to clear out the "inventory", at least for now...

Who knows, maybe a 993 C2S someday?
