Add me to the list, mine was the 86 951.

I was the slowest, but I'm not sure it's something I want to take pride in.

Doah, and here I was the guy you had to explain your turbo plumbing to. Got it.

Here's the then and now side by side shots of the 997 Targa vs 911SC. The obvious is that the 997 is a much bigger car.

Hey Bull30 that is a nice Audi you have there. I only just saw in the photos that you got it at Rockville. Who was your salesperson? My wife and I bought both our cars from Bob Brown.

When I look at those photos, I see two very different interpretations of the word "Targa". Both are very nice (of course I am biased!) I've always liked the look of the rear wing off of a back of the 911SC. When I first decided I wanted to buy a Targa, that was the mental image I had in mind. I then became enamored with the newer glass roof concept when I first saw it as well- I am a big fan of natural light! For me, it was "Targa or Bust!"

Nice pics - all the cars are so clean. We used to have the old meets in that lot.

I had a nice time meeting everyone. It was a tad bit disconcerting that all the dang Turbo guys where younger than me. Military has no stock option plan yet...but I can keep hoping!

Nice to meet everyone and I vote for somewhere in Tysons or Reston next time. Alternating locations along the beltway should give everyone a fair mix of driving N,E,S,W.

Default Where's the Oil Leakers?

Wow... nice vehicles but that's not the crew I last did a fun run with a few years back. Hope the older vehicle following is still alive and well in NoVA.

Nothing beats pulling up to Porsche meet & greet and getting a strong whiff of burning oil; the smell of your own car compounded by 20 or so. Smells like... victory.

Will make the next one.
