Default 2025 Volvo XC60 T8 Ultimate Plug In Hybrid...

Hi all,

I have a 2025 XC60 T8 Plug In Hybrid in Dark Theme that we will be selling in about a week. The selling price will be whatever Carmax offers, and I'd want to offer it to someone here at the same price.

Current online estimate price is $55,400.

This car is a former Beyer Volvo program car with 6054 miles on it (as of 1/4/26)
- 310hp/295lb-ft gas I4 turbo on the front axle
- 143hp/229lb-ft electric motor on the rear axle
- 453hp/524lb-ft combined (and in Power mode it moves)

The Plug-In Hybrid battery is 18.8 kWh, which translates to a real-world 35 mile electric-only range. The normal operating mode is to only start the gas engine if you nail the accelerator or run out of battery charge. You can change the mode to get all the horses all the time, hold OR charge the battery, or constant AWD (e.g. for snow).

- Onyx black metallic (black with blue sparkles) exterior
- Blonde (white) leather/grey wood interior
- Final Assembly in Torslanda, Sweden

The reason we are selling: we had another car (Volvo S60 T8 sedan) in the body shop for an extensive repair due to getting sandwiched in an accident. After renting a car (Altima - yuck) for a couple months, and the real possibility that the car would be totaled along the way, we ended up getting the XC60. We did not pay close to sticker, but more than the Carmax current offer.

The sedan ultimately took 6 months and 10 days to repair, but it did come back in good shape, and the S60 sedan is a better fit for us.

The XC60 is in very good shape, with only a couple of tiny paint chips along the passenger front door, and a couple of very small dimples in the hood that would be a cinch for paintless dent removal to fix. These were on the car when we bought it.
