Default Backdated Cold start levers in later 911

I am thinking about backdating the 86 911 tub I have to have a set of useable fuel advance hand lever similar to what my 73 911 had for the MFI if I end up using carbs on the engine. Anyone done this? Is it as strait forward as it looks? The heater controls will also be backdated so the stock defrost levers are being removed where the backdated levers will be placed. Thanks for any advice.
