I get a heavy vibration on my 87 944 Turbo on the drivers side front once I hit about 50, and it only goes away once I turn or apply the brakes - any ideas? I checked for play like a pre-race tech inspection and it seems pretty tight so I don't think it's the bearings.

FYI - I bought the car about a year ago, and the front tires have worn very unevenly, mostly on the inside.
